National ACE’s Statement on the 10 Year Anniversary of the Shooting in Oak Creek

[August 5, 2022 - Washington, D.C.] On this day 10 years ago, six Sikh worshippers were killed by a shooter while gathering in their gurdwara in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on this tragic day for the Oak Creek Sikh community. National ACE remains committed to undertaking the necessary policy and programming work to eradicate white supremacy and ensure safety for all religious, racial, and ethnic minorities.
