National ACE Congratulates Howard Lutnik and Kelly Loeffler on Their Confirmations

Washington, D.C. — The National Asian Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE) congratulates Howard Lutnik on his confirmation as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce and former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler on her confirmation as Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Both leaders bring extensive experience from the public and private sectors at a time when America’s small businesses and entrepreneurs need strong advocates in government.

AAPIs are one of the fastest growing demographics in the country, and make a powerful economic impact, with their purchasing power reaching $1.8 trillion. As the leading voice for AAPI entrepreneurs, National ACE is committed to working with Secretary Lutnik to ensure that small businesses, particularly those in emerging industries, have the tools and opportunities needed to thrive and compete in a rapidly evolving global economy. We recognize the vital role the Department of Commerce plays in driving economic competitiveness, trade, and innovation.

Similarly, the SBA plays a critical role in fostering the economic growth of AAPIs and all entrepreneurs, and we look forward to strengthening programs and initiatives that support the continued growth of America’s small businesses and entrepreneurs. We look forward to collaborating with Administrator Loeffler to ensure that all small business owners—regardless of background—have access to capital, federal contracting opportunities, and the resources they need to succeed.

National ACE remains dedicated to advocating for policies that uplift entrepreneurs and create lasting economic opportunities. We are eager to work with both Secretary Lutnik and Administrator Loeffler to advance an economic agenda that empowers small businesses to innovate, grow, and succeed.
