National ACE Releases 2024 Small Business Roundtable Report Highlighting Key Challenges and Opportunities for AAPI Entrepreneurs
Since 2022, the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE) has hosted the AAPI Small Business Roundtable Series, providing AAPI business owners with a vital platform to engage directly with government officials and corporate leaders. These roundtables tackle critical topics such as: access to capital, innovation, education and technical assistance, rising cost, supply chain challenges, tax and compliance challenges, language barriers and accessibility, workforce development, and safety and discrimination. In collaboration with strategic chambers and corporate partners across the country, these events foster meaningful discussions to identify and enhance resources for AAPI businesses. Participants from diverse backgrounds share insights on the successes and challenges faced by AAPI entrepreneurs, explore ways to support the local business community, and envision paths for economic growth while uncovering available small business resources.
In 2024, National ACE held 34 in-person Small Business Roundtables nationwide, including 19 roundtables with key Congressional offices on Capitol Hill during National ACE’s Capitol Hill Day. This initiative aims to connect strategic partners, board members, and grant recipients with influential Congressional offices, fostering bipartisan engagement and advocacy for the policy priorities of AAPI communities. By building these critical relationships with policymakers on key committees, National ACE advances its mission to champion the economic and social interests of AAPI entrepreneurs.
