National ACE Statement on Retirement of Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (CA-16)

Washington, D.C. – For over three decades, Congresswoman Anna Eshoo has represented California’s tech hub in Silicon Valley, helping shepard policies that have shaped the current tech landscape. Congresswoman Eshoo has also been a trailblazer for women, being the first woman to represent California’s 16th Congressional district and having advanced legislation that promotes women’s empowerment. During her time in Congress, Rep. Eshoo introduced over 60 pieces of legislation that were signed into law across five presidential administrations. As a member of Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), Rep. Eshoo advanced policies that would uplift and empower Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders across the country.
