NATIONAL ACE STATEMENT ON 

HOUSE PASSAGE OF THE BUILD BACK BETTER ACT 

After weeks of debate, the House voted to pass the President’s Build Back Better Act and sent it to the Senate. The Build Back Better Act is a game-changing bill that will uplift workers and small businesses and further create jobs and economic growth. The bill includes historic investments in childcare and healthcare in addition to tax provisions that will put small businesses at the heart of the economy. While the Build Back Better Act is not perfect, we must recognize the good that it will do for the AAPI small business community and the potential to expand that progress.

The Build Back Better Act builds on the investments made through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that was signed into law earlier this week. National ACE applauds the continued efforts of Congress and the Biden-Harris Administration to help the economy recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and build an economy that works for all Americans. We look forward to working with Congress over the coming weeks to ensure the bill continues to put small businesses first. We call on the Senate to pass this bill as quickly as possible and send it to the President's desk.
