Jan-Ie Low
Vice President of Corporate Development and Events
Jan-Ie Low serves as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Events at National ACE, bringing over 30 years of experience in human resources, business development, event management, and entrepreneurship.
Before joining National ACE, she held senior leadership roles in human resources at Fortune 500 companies, including AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile USA. In 2005, Jan-Ie transitioned from corporate life to pursue her entrepreneurial passion, founding Satay Thai Bistro & Bar, a family-owned restaurant in Las Vegas. The restaurant earned recognition from TripAdvisor as one of the top Asian dining spots in the city. After 18 successful years, the restaurant closed on December 18, 2022.
Jan-Ie is a passionate community advocate, dedicating her time to organizations such as Chefs for Kids and the Nevada Small Business Council. She also serves on the Executive Board of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada. Her flagship event, CNY in the Desert™, celebrated its 14th year in 2025 and was honored by Forbes Magazine as one of the “Top 8 Places in the United States to Celebrate Chinese New Year.” In recognition of her community contributions, she was named Citizen of the Month by the Mayor and the City of Las Vegas on February 2, 2022.
In 2023, Jan-Ie was appointed to the economic development transition team for Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo. She previously served as a commissioner for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (WHIAAPI) under President Donald J. Trump, where she focused on enhancing the health, education, and economic well-being of AAPI communities nationwide. In recognition of her dedication, Jan-Ie received the President's Volunteer Service Award in 2020 from the Corporation for National and Community Service and President Donald J. Trump. She was also honored by the Asian American Group Las Vegas with the "Community Achievement Award" in 2017 and was named one of the "Women to Watch" by Vegas Inc. in 2012.
