You’re Invited!
Please join us for an EY POWER Up session on Friday, August 18, from 2:00-3:30pm EST.
It’s well established that women* are underrepresented in senior ranks and leadership across industries. EY’s POWER Up™ acknowledges the systemic barriers faced by these professionals. The facilitated program focuses on illuminating key behaviors that support projecting authentic confidence, mindfully owning your career, and elevating communication.
*While the materials reference “women” in some cases, we are using the term to include all women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people.
Agenda:

What is POWER Up?
The EY POWER leadership development methodology is a means to springboard female professionals into deep conversations with one another in order to determine ways to enhance performance.
► Why we developed it: The goal is to simplify and condense the overwhelming wealth of information available to current and future female leaders with respect to professional development. Through discussion and reflection, we hope to get to the heart of the behaviors that can help build power and drive success.
► How we developed it: The methodology is based on EY's Americas Leadership & Team Coaching team's experience coaching women leaders and observing the key behaviors that can either diminish power or build power.
► Who it applies to: Women striving to reach the next level of performance.
Throughout the session, we will focus on the following 5 key areas:
Project confidence authentically – exhibit a firm belief in your abilities
Own your career – mindfully take control of your career
Widen your network – identify and engage mentors, coaches and sponsors
Elevate your communication – communicate with clarity, self-assurance and intent
Realize your purpose – know who you are and what you stand for
Addressing gender parity and accelerating the advancement of women is an important issue, proven to contribute to the overall success of an organization. EY intends to lead the effort with Women. Fast forward, our unifying platform around women’s initiatives.
