AUGUST 18 | REPAIRING THE RUNG: WOMEN CLIMBING THE TECH LADDER

10:00 AM–11:30 AM PST
According to a recent "Women in Tech" report, 37% of women of color in tech feel that racial bias is a barrier to promotion. In addition, studies found a "broken rung" on the workplace ladder that is preventing women, especially women of color, from being promoted to manager level positions. We're bringing together a panel of powerful women who have found success in the tech industry to share their inspiring stories and insights on how women can support each other on the climb to the top.
Panel:
Susan Jin Davis, Social Impact Officer, Al Roker Entertainment
Caren Khoo, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Verizon
Grace Lee, President, Ashford Connex
Tanya Lombard, Vice President of External Affairs - Head of Multicultural Engagement and Strategic Alliances, AT&T
