About the Speaker

Aviva Aron-Dine is the Deputy Director of the National Economic Council (NEC). She previously served as the Vice President for Health Policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. She leads the Center’s work on Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and other health care issues, with a particular focus on policies to expand coverage and access to care for lower income people. Prior to rejoining the Center in 2017, Aron-Dine served as a Senior Counselor to the Secretary at the Department of Health and Human Services, with responsibility for Affordable Care Act implementation and for Medicaid, Medicare, and delivery system reform policy.
