Andrew Moy is the Asian Segment leader for Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking (CB) Diverse Segments team. CB provides local coverage and specialized industry expertise to companies in a wide variety of industries and subsectors and across multiple geographic locations, as well as government, institutional, and not-for-profit clients, with a portfolio of more than $200 billion in loans. CB’s relationship-focused coverage businesses provide comprehensive financial services to companies with annual sales generally between $25 million and $2 billion, while its specialized and secured lending businesses deliver products to companies of all sizes.

As the Asian Segment leader, Andrew is dedicated to supporting and growing commercial banking relationships with Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI)-owned and -led businesses nationwide and raising awareness of CB’s commitment to serving the AAPI community. He is also responsible for creating partnerships and insights that support their business growth.

Moy graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He joined Wells Fargo in 1993 as a relationship management trainee with the Real Estate Group. He later graduated from the Credit Management Training Program and joined the Loan Adjustment Group based in Los Angeles.

In 1999, he joined Wells Fargo’s Houston Regional CB Office as a relationship manager, and in 2003, he joined the Houston Global Banking office. Over the next 16 years, he built the Global Banking business throughout South Texas, Southern California, the Mountain states, the Southeast, and the East Coast. Andrew then became head of the Global Advisory division, overseeing offices in the U.S., London, Dublin, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai that delivered international, cross-border, and commercial services to large corporate and middle-market companies.

Prior to assuming his current role in 2024, Andrew led several specialized industry teams, including Commodity Finance, Employee Stock Ownership Plan financing, Global Advisory, Heavy Equipment Dealer Group, Investor Real Estate, and Sustainable Finance. Andrew has served on the board of the Hong Kong Association of Southern California and the Houston chapter of Pratham USA, one of the largest and most successful non-governmental education organizations in India. Now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Andrew serves on the Elder board of Charlotte Grace One Church and he and his wife are busy with their seven children.
