Garrett Gin serves Bank of America as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Corporate Affairs Bank of America. In this role, he leads a team of professionals that is responsible for numerous corporate social responsibility initiatives, including local philanthropy, community reinvestment, community engagement and corporate sponsorships in the region. These local marketing strategies and programs help to drive brand visibility, employee engagement, and the integration of the bank’s businesses throughout Greater Los Angeles.Prior to joining Bank of America in August 2009, Garrett served as the Director of Communications & Public Affairs for Merrill Lynch in California. He is active with numerous business, civic, and educational organizations, including the City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board, the Los Angeles Business Council, the Central City Association, USC Civic Engagement Board of Councilors, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, and the National Asian Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship. Garrett is a native of San Francisco and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. He and his wife live in Orange County, California with their two daughters.
